Geoff Spash currently serves as Vice President of Operations and Goose Creek Site Lead for Leonardo DRS / Naval Power Systems. He is an operations executive with twenty-five years of experience in maritime defense, aviation, and multi-site industrial operations. Geoff drives a strong focus on mission readiness, multi-site sustainment, cross-functional collaboration, and the expansion of key Navy Industrial Base programs. Previously, he served as Senior Director of Operations, leading the NPS Machines Line of Business in support of Navy nuclear operations. In this role, he implemented workforce skills programs, daily management systems, and capital investment strategies, including the design and construction of the new South Carolina manufacturing facility. Prior to joining DRS, Geoff held progressive roles at GE Aviation in operations and program leadership. During his tenure, he delivered major customer turnarounds, expanded production capacity—including increasing value stream output from 9 to 30 modules per week, improved delivery performance and cost-to-serve on high-volume engine lines, and directed complex new product and test programs. His earlier experience includes engineering leadership at Unison Industries, quality leadership at ABA Industries, and operational aviation experience as a US Navy Flight Engineer— experience that combines technical expertise, program leadership, and fleet-facing insight to support readiness and sustainment. Geoff holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and maintains an active US Government Secret clearance
