With more than 21 years of experience in the spa and wellness industry, Emmanuel is a seasoned hospitality professional with a background in luxury operations. He has collaborated with leading hotel groups, opening and operating spas across North America, the Caribbean and Europe. Emmanuel began his hospitality career with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, serving in spa leadership roles at several properties. He was later recruited by Hilton to oversee the spa and leisure division at one of its premier resort destinations before joining the award-winning Rosewood Mayakoba. Following his tenure with Rosewood, Emmanuel served as regional director of spa and wellness, supporting operations across the Americas and Europe and leading spa pre-openings in Mexico; Montecito, California; the Bahamas; Hong Kong; St. Barts; and Vienna. Specializing in building cultures centered on well-being, he spearheaded companywide initiatives such as Global Wellness Day to strengthen brand positioning in wellness. Most recently, Emmanuel served as senior director of global wellness operations, managing a portfolio of 31 ultraluxury properties. In this role, he oversaw spa openings in Kona, Hawaii; Munich; New Zealand; São Paulo; and Salzburg, and supported the development of more than 10 additional spas worldwide. Emmanuel is also active in the spa industry, serving as a panelist at industry conventions and as a member of the board of directors for the Global Mentorship Program, an international initiative of the Global Wellness Institute. He studied tourism and hospitality at Concordia University in Montreal and holds a spa management certification from LaSalle College. Emmanuel speaks Spanish, English and French and lives with his wife, Cinthya, and their three children.
