Jeremy McCarthy
Leisure, Wellness, Spa and Hospitality Leader



Jeremy McCarthy has overseen the design, development and operations of luxury resort, spa and wellness experiences for more than 30 years. During his career, he has worked with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, KSL Resorts and Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and most recently served as group director of leisure, spa and wellness for Mandarin Oriental. During his tenure, Mandarin Oriental was named the world’s best hotel spa brand for four consecutive years. McCarthy has received a Visionary Award from the International Spa Association for his industry innovations, the Debra Simon Award from the Global Wellness Summit for his leadership in advancing mental wellness, and a Distinguished Instructor Award from the University of California, Irvine, for his highly rated courses in positive leadership and spa operations. He holds a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and is the author of The Psychology of Spas & Wellbeing.
