A hospitality veteran who holds more than three decades of experience in the industry, Lisa Trainor joined Centerplate in December 2014. In her role as General Manager at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Lisa oversees day-to-day operations, including management of the Executive team and more than 200 employees. Prior to her current role at the Convention Center in New Orleans, Lisa served as General Manager for Restaurant Associates/Compass group in New York for 13 years, where she directed the operations team, sales and marketing efforts, and collaboratively dealt with union workforce to achieve common goals and objectives. She also played an integral role in setting up new catering operations in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Miami, California and Washington, DC. Lisa studied Business Administration at the College of New Jersey and is a member of Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF), New Orleans Food Policy Action Council (FPAC), Food Recovery Network (FRN) and International Association of Exhibitions & Events (IAEE).
