Harrison Williams, Director of the Washington County Expo. Harrison brings a wealth of experience in fairgrounds management, rooted in a deep passion for agriculture, community, and the power of shared spaces. He started as an intern at his local county fair in Oregon where he quickly moved up the ranks and after college moved to Texas in 2020 to become the Director of the Washington County Expo. Since stepping into his role, Harrison has been a driving force behind the transformation of the venue, from doubling the amount of events to leading the facility through natural disasters, establishing one of the most efficient COVID19 vacince hubs in a rural Texas and increasing community support for the venue. Currently he is leading a master planning effort for the venue and a strategic plan for the County that is set to shape the future of the Washington County Community for decades to come. Harrison also serves as the South Texas Region 6 Representative & active participant on the Fairgrounds and Amphitheater Committee. Locally he serves on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Lake Somerville Resource Management Partnership Board, City of Brenham Tourism Advisory Board and the Texas Public Policy Foundation. With a strong vision and a servant-leader mindset, Harrison continues to build a space where memories are made, and the local economy thrives.
