Ted Simon serves as Senior Vice President-Business Development for ZenSpace. A veteran of the company since before the days of Covid, when he initially joined to help the then young startup establish a foundational sales base in the events industry through rental of ZenSpace SmartPods to event organizers and corporations. His current responsibilities have extended to overseeing ZenSpace’s strategic growth initiative within the public venue sector. In this capacity, he is helping convention centers, hotels/resorts, college campuses, sporting arenas and arts/performing centers address the evolving demand for workspace/quiet spaces in a post-Covid world, aiding them in transforming underutilized public areas into private, on-demand workspaces that enhance the guest/user experience and drive revenue for the property/venue. A long-time executive whose career spans product marketing, sales and business development in categories including software, technology, consumer packaged goods, along with time spent in both association and agency service fields, Ted brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and insights to his company and his clients. Ted resides in Fair Oaks, CA outside Sacramento with his wife, Doris, with whom he raised their two sons to adulthood. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University and an MBA from Northwestern Kellogg Graduate School of Management. And, no bio of Ted is complete without mentioning his avid love of all things outdoors, and his dedication as a fan of the Golden State Warriors and New York Yankees.
