Lynda Reinhart, CVE currently serves as the Senior Director of the University of Florida’s Stephen C. O’Connell Center. She began working at the venue as a part time student in 1994 and joined the full-time staff in 1998. Lynda worked her way up the ranks until she was named Director in July 2007. Lynda holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Science in Recreational Studies, both from UF. In 2018, Lynda was selected to receive the Woman of Influence award by VenuesNow Magazine in recognition of her accomplishments in the venue management industry. An active member of the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) since 1997, Lynda has served in numerous volunteer and leadership positions with IAVM, including 2 terms on the Board of Directors and several committee chair positions. She is an active member of the Florida Venue Managers Association (FVMA, Past-President), Country Music Association (CMA), International Entertainment Buyers’ Association (IEBA), Alachua County Hospitality Council, Rotary Club of Gainesville (Past President) and the Gainesville Sports Commission (Past President). Lynda is currently serving as an Assistant Governor for Rotary International, District 6970, Trustee for the Sports Commission, Board Member for FVMA, and a member of IAVM’s Certification Board and Industry Affairs Committee.
