Opened the first VR arcade in Quebec in early 2017 and quickly bootstrapped his way to 7 locations by the end of 2018. Focusing on refining the business model, Jay and his team built a booking platform that helped them market and operate high volume locations across the province. He has now begun incorporating arcades and F&B into his locations, and while this has introduced many new challenges, he believes he is very close to finding the ‘sweet spot’ of family entertainment in Canada. Straight talker and often contrarian, his no BS approach has ultimately been an asset in an ever-changing business.
