After 15 years in the OEM world, most with Toyota and Lexus, John Malishenko joined the Germain group in 2001 as a General Manager of a new Lexus dealership in Columbus, OH, before becoming Director of Operations in 2008 and ultimately Chief Operating Officer in 2011. John developed an organizational “Operating System” that focused on People, Process, Productivity, Planning and Partnerships with a goal to build a decentralized, scalable architecture that would drive continuous growth through sustainable change. Since then, the group has grown from 8 stores to 20, with 2021 units sales of 28,000 and a group net to sales of 7.0%.
