Annika Nordlund-Swenson leads American Honda Motor Co.’s environmental sustainability efforts. is responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting carbon, energy, water and waste data; coordinating with a global environmental management team to set and track toward regional targets; managing the Honda/Acura Environmental Leadership (“Green Dealer”) Program. She has achieved 123,000+ mT CO2e reduction, $26.3 million utility cost savings across 700 dealerships by the end of the latest fiscal year and received 2019 Climate Leadership Award, Innovative Partnership from The Climate Registry and the Center for Climate & Energy Solutions. She was awarded a patent for dealership energy management system using controlled electric vehicle charging.
