Prior to becoming the director of the LEAD Team, Jennifer worked at the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for over 20 years in various roles including education community liaison, legislative liaison, federal policy initiatives advisor, and senior policy advisor and director of the legislative and policy outreach team. Jennifer serves as a member of the Higher Educational Aids Board and previously served two terms as chair of the Council of Chief State School Officers' Federal Liaison Network. Jennifer is a lifelong Wisconsin resident. She is a proud graduate of the Greenwood School District and holds both a bachelor's degree in journalism, with additional majors in political science and Spanish, and a master's degree in public affairs and administration from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
