As the UWSA Director for PK-20 Strategic Initiatives and Educational Innovation, I bring PK-20 stakeholder partners together to recommend education policies and programs so students are fully prepared for, and successfully transition to, each next step in their academic and career path. I am also an Associate Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at UW-Milwaukee. My scholarship attends to the relationships among teacher education policies, preparation programs, and teacher learning and development to advance students' opportunities to learn, particularly among those historically under-served by our profession.
