David Edwards is ACTNext’s Lead Data Scientist, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, at ACTNext with expertise in Software Engineering, Business Processes and Operational Business Intelligence, Analytics, Product Concept Development and Customer Analysis and Acquisition, Application Development, Identity Management and Web Development. ACTNext actively researches collaborative problem solving (CPS) and aims to leverage the engagement of modern game design techniques to develop games and simulations for learning and assessment, paving the way for the next generation of educational technology. David applies insights developed over a lifetime playing videogames as he leads the analysis of game event data and gameplay telemetry for player profiling for ACTNext’s CPS game, Circuit Runner.
