Ray Holland
Engineer
Jobe Systems
Raymond’s professional career began in 1990 when he volunteered for the U.S. Navy. Through both gulf wars and college at the University of Virginia, he was formally trained in Bio-Medical Engineering and worked as a firefighter on several ships and finally a Chemical, Biological and Radiological Defense advisor in Naval Intelligence. Raymond converted to the private sector in 1999 where he was a plant maintenance technician for the cable utility, Cox Communications. In 2001, He made the move to Custom Installations as a technician for a small Los Angeles’ based AV company. Using the tools available to him through CEDIA’s website and Expo, Raymond learned how to become a very productive project manager and designer. Throughout the mid 2000’s Raymond was involved in several multi-million dollar installations, both as a project manager, and a designer. His management and design skills were put to the test on complex AV, Electrical and Solar projects. In 2013, his reputation earned him a position with VIA International as a Senior System Designer where he worked only on complex projects in excess of $2 million. In 2015, Raymond began working at AHT where he was responsible for the technical aspects of sales, system design and project management of large-scale custom yachts and the occasional multi-million dollar residence. Raymond recently decided to make a move from AHT and now works with Jobe Systems on high end residential and custom yachts projects the world over. Raymond currently resides in Arizona where he spends his off time with his two teenaged children and enjoys riding his Harley. You can usually find him playing Texas Hold-em in Laughlin, Nevada if you can’t reach him on his cell phone.
