Austin is the Director of Real Estate Management for Mission Health which is a non-profit health system headquartered in Asheville, NC. Mission Health is the state’s 6th largest health system which includes six member hospitals throughout an 18 county region in Western North Carolina. Mission has been recognized as one of the Top 15 Health Systems 2012-2015 by Truven Health Analytics. Austin and his team manage 5.5 million square feet over an 18 county region which includes over 200 leases. He is also charged with developing the overall real estate strategy for the Health System as well as the acquisition and disposition of the real estate assets. Austin joined Mission in September of 2014 after spending 9 years with Biltmore Farms, LLC developing and leasing a 42 acre mixed use town center, Biltmore Park Town Square. Austin graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Corporate Communications and currently sits on the Board for the Boys and Girls Club of Buncombe County.
