Joseph Fowler CISSP holds a M.S. Computer Science (Data Science/Software Engineering) and a B.S. Computer Science (Software Engineering) from the University of Illinois. He serves as a Cyber Security Agent with the Colorado Bureau of Investigations (CBI) assigned to the FBI Network Intrusion Task Force and a member of the United States Secret Service Colorado Electronic Crimes Task Force. Joe has a proven expertise mitigating sophisticated threats including 10+ years experience specializing in network intrusions, malware investigations, data science research and forensics. He is a Big Data, cyber security evangelist. His experience includes management in strategic security governance, reducing client risk and improving systems and operational security. Spanning 20+ years as a law enforcement professional, Joe has also served as a detective with the Englewood CO Police; City of Plano Police SWAT officer (TX) and Denton County TX Sheriff SORT supervisor.
