Jim Moloney is Co-Head of the Firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory practice. Mr. Moloney joined Cain Brothers has 27 years’ experience in mergers, acquisitions, financings, and real estate transactions. Mr. Moloney’s clients include a broad range of academic medical centers, not-for-profit health systems, publicly-traded and privately-owned healthcare providers, medical groups, real estate development companies, and real estate investors. Mr. Moloney’s recent notable engagements include Meriter’s Health Services affiliation with UnityPoint, the sale of City of Hope Medical Group to the City of Hope Medical Foundation, the affiliation between UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital Research Center Oakland, and the affiliation between the University of Arizona Health Network and Banner Health. Prior to his current role, Mr. Moloney founded and was the head of the Firm’s Real Estate Group and has advised clients on real estate transactions valued in excess of $2 billion and involving more than 200 healthcare properties. Mr. Moloney is a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee.
