Michael Moore is an Assistant Vice President in the Project Management office of the Facilities Management Group at Carolinas HealthCare System. He is responsible for all Design and Construction Activities in the Central Division, inclusive of the campuses of Carolinas Medical Center, Carolinas HealthCare Center – Mercy, Carolinas Rehabilitation Center, Levine Children’s Hospital, Levine Cancer Institute, Behavioral Health Charlotte as well as the Cancer, Cardiovascular, Neurosciences, Laboratory, Pharmacy and Radiology service lines. He and his team oversee all planning, design and construction within these markets. Michael holds Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Design and Architecture from North Carolina State University. His 23 year career has been dedicated to health care design and construction, with 13 years having been spent in private Architecture practice and the last 10 having been spent on the owner’s side of the equation. He is an active member of numerous best practice committees and works closely with various Code Enforcement Authorities.
