Mr. Venker has served in senior facilities management roles for healthcare organizations since 1990, and in his current position with Premier, a healthcare improvement company, since 2011. At Premier, Venker supports the sourcing, promotion, education and utilization of Premier’s Facilities and Construction Services Program in the areas of facilities materials and services, as well as construction materials, infrastructure equipment and non-clinical equipment. Additionally, Mr. Venker provides construction spend and contract utilization reviews, identifying savings and missed opportunities. He also assists members in integrating Premier agreement opportunities into construction contract document specifications and works to assist contracted suppliers in addressing member needs. Mr. Venker also provides training to the design and construction community, supporting member projects in the Premier Construction Services Program and explaining how it can be integrated into a member’s project. Mr. Venker has previously served in senior facilities management roles for Carolinas HealthCare System, Ochsner Medical Institutions and Presbyterian Health Services Corporation. He is a registered architect in the state of Georgia, and holds a BAET Architectural Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, GA. In addition to his role with HCI, Mr. Venker is also a member of the American Institute of Architects and the American Society for Healthcare Engineering, and serves on the advisory board of the ACE Summit & Reverse Expo.
