Mike joined National Healthcare Realty as Executive Vice President of Design & Construction. Prior to joining NHR, Mike served as national Director of Healthcare Market Development for Oldcastle, Inc. In that role, Mike assisted healthcare systems assess, assemble and coordinate the development of strategic budgets, schedules and technical applications of a multitude of building material products, while facilitating the design and construction supplier chain processes and ensuring continuous alignment of program goals and project alignment. He has worked for several world-class leading organizations and owned several businesses associated with the advanced use of technology, healthcare, organization development and program management. Mike holds graduate degrees in Organization Development, Business Administration and Medicine, as well as undergraduate degrees in Business Management, Physics and Radiologic Technology. He is a life-long learner and coach. He is a certified Coach, Facilitator, CHC and CFM. He holds certifications and licenses in several professions including healthcare project management, facilities management, healthcare construction and real estate brokerage. Mike is presently the President of the Healthcare Institute, President of CAHED, past Regional Vice President of IFMA, past President of the Denver IFMA Chapter, past CAHED Board member. Mike is Founder and Chair of two non-profit organizations focused on at-risk youth and job skill development for second career (or beyond) adults. He is a frequent speaker on personal motivation, high-performance teams, team collaboration techniques, healthcare reform and life balance. ions.
