Nicholas Doering-Dorival leads healthcare real estate investing for Starwood Capital Group. In addition he oversees the Firm’s acquisition efforts for all assets located in the New York City area. Since joining Starwood in 2010, Mr. Doering-Dorival has been responsible for over $6.5 billion of acquisitions ranging from single asset & portfolio transactions to corporate investments. Prior to joining Starwood, Mr. Doering-Dorival developed tax credit housing in Florida and worked in real estate acquisitions and asset management at JP Morgan Asset Management. Mr. Doering-Dorival received an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School, and graduated cum laude with dual degrees from the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Joseph Wharton Scholar. He is a CFA charterholder.
