Daniel Tristan has been active in the automotive industry for the last 20 years. He started in the industry by rotating tires, soon ‘graduated’ to replacing water pumps and finally amassed enough Snap-On Tools to work on rebuilding engines. The love of cars and the logic used to fix them translated well into the tech industry where an education in sales and marketing at Apple Inc. reinforced the importance of American ingenuity. Years later Daniel combined those skills he learned at Apple and his experience as a mechanic to develop global markets for high-end quality designed Automotive American products. He’s been fortunate enough to work with some of the best manufacturers in our industry and is currently working with both Original Equipment Manufacturers as well as key automotive aftermarket distributors to establish American brands in Asia and Latin America. He is currently a board member of the Overseas Automotive Council and recently completed the requirements to receive the Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) designation after attending Leadership 3.0 in Shanghai, China. Daniel is a firm believer in a global marketplace where face-to-face interactions are a key to success.
