Mike Schlappi – CSP, MBA, Author, Gold Medalist Lying on a bed paralyzed, with a bullet hole in his chest, Mike promised that if he survived, he would share his unique story all over the world and help as many people as he could. This is happening! Mike knows that the most important part of any meeting or organization is the people. Whether speaking at a National Safety Meeting or a local outreach for safety, he has seen their results change when the beliefs of their people change. Obviously Mike has had a few challenges in his life. But he also has a few Olympic gold medals, a few college degrees, has written a few books, and runs a successful business as a keynote speaker. Living life as a paraplegic has taught Mike that this didn’t need happen; it could have been prevented by taking personal responsibility for safety.
