Joe Kaminkow is a legendary game designer and a member of the Pinball Hall of Fame. Starting with pinball and amusement games Joe led the design of more than 1,250 slot machines including versions of Wheel of Fortune, Sex in the City, Megabucks, Addams Family, Elvira, The Price is Right , Game of Thrones, The Hangover, 1966 Batman and Ghostbusters.
His 35 year career has been spent working with Williams, Data East, SEGA, IGT, Aristocrat and he founded Spooky Cool Labs which he later sold to Zynga, Joe has developed unique insight into the slot machine eco-system. He has imagined unique hardware at both IGT and Aristocrat from the Triple Wheel and AVP cabinet, Behemoth cabinet, Dual Arc and has over 150 patents in the game space. In social games Joe helped design and create Hit It Rich, Spin It Rich, The Wizard of Oz Slots, Willy Wonka Slots, and the Wizard of Oz Magic Match at Zynga, games that are played by millions of people daily and have had over 60 million downloads.
In his luncheon keynote Joe Kaminkow will address emergent gaming design and how the gaming industry will create the slot floor of the future.
