Today the threat to a Indian Gaming Casino or Business Enterprise although more technical in nature still relies on the people we hire and work with causing losses to a property's reputation, financial stability, exposure to scams or fraud and potential litigation or claims. These are primarily from the "Inside" or the people we have hired and work with everyday. During the workshop the speaker will address practices of background investigations that include use of technology resources, interviewing, policy and inter-departmental operations. Tribal Gaming Commission/Agency staff, Human Resources, Security, Surveillance, Investigators and Tribal Police will benefit from this workshop and better understand the dynamics of how to reduce the likelihood of a good employee from becoming "The Insider Threat" and techniques to recognized this potential threat with existing staff and during the background investigative process and use as an investigative resource.
