Classroom teachers, coaches, school counselors, bus drivers, custodians, playground supervisors, school resource officers and administrators have all been implicated involving sexual misconduct by staff. This session will focus on how to prevent and eliminate these instances with training initiatives, a culture open to reporting concerns, and board policies and guidelines that help students remain safe. This session will also help attendees learn how to identify sexual abuse, conduct thorough investigations, mitigate potential liability, and properly report any type of sexual misconduct that does occur.
