The tools of continuous improvement, such as understanding the problem, data metrics and plan-do-study-act cycles, hold the potential to focus improvement efforts in a school district and at individual schools. The impact of improvement efforts depends on the processes and focus of the work. In this session, the Greendale Schools will share several ways the tools of continuous improvement have been focused on problems of equity and support improvement in narrowing discrepancies in outcomes for students of color and students who qualify for free and reduced-price lunch.
