ET02 | Esports: Spotlight on Schools (Room EXPO HALL BOOTH 4837 eSports Arena & Theater)

Esports does much more than entertain; it can be leveraged as a meaningful platform for youth engagement around STEAM and other career interests. This session will demonstrate how local schools are implementing scholastic esports clubs and curriculum to build a welcoming environment for all students to connect their passion for gaming with real-world learning. Student panelists from various Miami-Dade County Public Schools will share their first-hand experiences and answer questions alongside leaders and educators from the North America Scholastic Esports Federation (NASEF).
