So many initiatives have been started at the schools promising innovation and implementation of 21st century skills. Yet, here we are in 2020, and many of the promises still are far from being fulfilled. Technology is widely accessible and there are many materials freely available. So why are we still struggling? In this presentation I will share how in my 30 years of experience as a teacher, administrator and consultant, I have seen and helped schools go beyond the theory and truly embrace the transformation through rethinking their curriculum to incorporate STEAM and other strategies. Practical case studies and projects are shared so we can discuss what works and lessons learned.
