STEM01 | STEAMing in Middle School (Room EXPO HALL BOOTH 3229 STEM Theater)

Attendees of this session will learn about and explore bringing STEAM into the middle school classroom through various technology tools and platforms. Presenters will outline a STEAM plan and how this was implemented in a rural middle school. Attendees will receive a list of resources and learn how these were used in the core content areas. Student examples and lesson outlines will be shared as well as ideas on obtaining the materials used. Free resources are shared as well with implementation strategies. Attendees will leave this session with a multitude of ideas and resources to enhance STEAM education in their classrooms and schools.
