John Wm. Macy's CheeseSticks opened for business in 1985 on the lower East Side of Manhattan with a single unique recipe for sourdough and cheese breadsticks that John Macy developed ten years earlier for clients of his small catering business. Our twice-baked snacks are made with natural ingredients from layers of batch-mixed sourdough, aged cheeses and hand-picked seasonings, and contain no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. John Macy, the Company's founder and President, and his brother Tim, Vice President, are members of the Specialty Food Association Hall of Fame.
John Wm. Macy's products are available in the USA and Canada in many of the finest gourmet, natural, and specialty stores, supermarket chains and luxury hotels. Products are available in retail and bulk foodservice packaging, including par-baked CheeseSticks that can be stored frozen and baked off as needed.
