Edge Cycling Technologies is a new cycling company aiming to alleviate the typical pains of cycling, starting with their new saddle, the PhysioSaddle. The PhysioSaddle was designed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Sports Specialist. Throughout the past year, the PhysioSaddle was being perfected by cyclists, including recent Race Across America (RAAM) finisher, Joe Lawhorn. The PhysioSaddle is a patented saddle featuring four specifically placed concavities to accomodate a rider's anatomy instead of pressing against it. The design has been pressure tested against other saddles on the market and demonstrates its utility through reduced pressure across the ischial tuberosities (sit bones), sacrum, and perineal nerves.
