Dragon-Line is “the orange dripline tubing” with pressure compensating emitters spaced every 6”, 12” or 18” that are welded to the internal wall of the dripline and fully operational at 5 psi. Emitting a uniform water pattern as it drags across the soil surface, thus the name “Dragon-Line”, greatly reduces water evaporation from wind drift, and allows deeper percolation to the plant’s root zone where it is needed most.
Saving water is not the only benefit. Dragon-Line can eliminate wheel track issues, allow possible winter watering without ice accumulation on pivot, eliminates leaf burn, plant shock from sudden temperature changes, reduces the potential for plant diseases, and allows liquid fertilizers to be applied directly on the soil instead of the plant.
