Progem is an Italian company that mainly works for the aerospace and defense sectors. Founded in 1995, it has 35 employees in a facility of 3000 square meters. Progem is AS EN 9100 certified and holds the NCAGE and ART.28 certifications; it is a Tier1 supplier that design, produce, assemble and test aerospace and defence structures and components. Progem is also studying a carbon fiber strain gauge that should fly in space in 2022. It is a new technology that allows the structural health monitoring of every critical component spending ten time less than the actual solution available.
