Founded 1927, AEREA is one of Italy’s oldest privately-owned companies in aerospace & defense. Specialized in design, manufacturing, and support of electromechanical and pneumatic store carriage and release systems and mechanical components for international air defense projects such as AV-8B II+, Eurofighter and F-35.
AEREA developed HDRM for solar panels on satellites, having conceived a mechanism easy to install and operate, no need to replace or adjust components, highly reliable, virtually shockless. The result is SHREK, planned to fly in 2020 on Platino mission.
