The company started as a joinery workshop in 1930 and was founded by Mr. Jozef Schulte. 1954 they first started producing parquet flooring. As Mr Johannes Schulte took over the business in 1972 the company started growing exponentially by first developing and commercializing ceiling edges, later on by skirtings, panels, laminate flooring, parquet flooring, linoleum… . In 2013, MeisterWerke was the world´s first company to successfully produce and distribute wood-powder based flooring products under the brand names of Meister Nadura and Lindura which were later on followed by MEISTER design flooring.
MeisterWerke stands out from the rest as it always wants to differentiate itself from the competition by innovation. Innovation is the key factor to be successful in today´s highly competitive flooring business according to Mr. Johannes Schulte. Recent successful innovations are Nadura and Lindura, wood powder based flooring products, which are as hard as stone and as warm as real wood. On top of that MEISTER also developed MeisterDesign design flooring, the high qualitative vinyl flooring without vinyl - 100% PVC free.
