Triad Magnetics has been in business for over 60 years and has built a legacy for innovative wound magnetic devices for leading edge applications. Lewis W. Howard founded Triad in Venice California. Mr. Howard also co-founded the WESCON trade show. Triad quickly gained notoriety as an innovator. Early on, Triad worked with Leo Fender and "surf guitarist" Dick Dale and all together they "turned up the volume" with then state-of-the-art amplifiers. Shortly thereafter, Triad magnetics became very common in TV sets produced by RCA, Philco, General Electric and Curtis-Mathis. Another notable accomplishment was Triad's contribution to developing the first magnetics to be use in Microwave ovens for Litton. Triad's magnetics have flown to the Moon and back on various Apollo space missions. Today Triad Magnetics has product in many things that involve our day to day activities. So whether you know it or not, you really are part of Triad!!
