Founded in 2005, by Mads and Mikkel Kornerup, Shamballa Jewels was born out of the two brothers´ desire to make understated fine jewellery.
Shamballa Jewels combines ancient Eastern philosophy and Nordic design principles in highly personal, and customizable pieces - with extravagant gems and gold beads that are synonymous with the Shamballa Jewels’ signature style.
The iconic Shamballa bracelets are made with 10mm round beads, and the reversible Lock bracelet with flat beads braided with diamonds, 18K gold or precious stones, using an ancient macramé braiding technique. The fine jewellery repertoire has expanded to include rings, earrings, and cufflinks, as well as pendants and necklaces.
All Shamballa Jewels jewellery is imbued with the Star of Shamballa – the recurring motif of Shamballa Jewels. The star serves as a reminder to live a purposeful life, through love, joy, compassion, and wisdom, and to bring a personal take on its meaning when designing one’s own piece.
