Fire Cider is an organic spicy, sweet and tangy apple cider vinegar and honey tonic. Try straight from the bottle; with juices, soda water, or tea; in a salad dressing; or in a Hot Toddy.
What's in it? To the base of certified organic apple cider vinegar, we've added whole, raw, certified organic roots and fruits. We let this mixture steep for 6 weeks at room temperature, to preserve the living vinegar culture and delicate flavors of the ingredients. Lastly, we blend a generous helping of raw wildflower honey into the mix, or we leave the honey out, creating our vegan-certified Unsweetened Fire Cider variety. The result is potent but balanced, offering layers of sweet, tart and spice. Fire Cider is fierce!
About our company: Located in The Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, Shire City Herbals has been a family owned and run business since 2011. We began making early versions of Fire Cider in the 1990s to support our own self-care. Through the years, we tinkered with adding potent roots and fruits to the traditional New England base of apple cider vinegar and honey resulting in our wicked awesome tonic!
