Intelligent Implant Systems, LLC is a medical device company specializing in sterile implants and instrument sets for spinal surgery. Our team is developing novel implant systems which only require a single tray of all-sterile instruments to perform spinal procedures. The Revolution Spinal System® significantly reduces the number of instruments required for posterior lumbar fusion and provides an all-sterile set which reduces the risk of infection and allows the OR to be turned faster. This year, IIS will introduce MEDIANT™, an all-sterile anterior cervical plating system. Unlike other cervical plates, MEDIANT™ is based on a new advanced load sharing screw design proprietary to IIS. As with Revolution, only one tray of single-use implants is needed to perform the procedure and up to three level plates are available. MEDIANT™ and Revolution are ideal systems for the growing ASC market, and hospitals can also save time and money utilizing these systems.
