Heimann Sensor is a world leader in infrared thermopile sensors and modules. Main applications are remote temperature measurement and gas detection in industrial, medical, automotive and consumer markets. Heimann Sensor offers a wide range of thermopile arrays with 8x8, 16x4, 16x16, 32x32 up to 80x64 pixels.
A variety of different optics with 20x20 up to… 90x90 deg FOV fit the arrays to various applications.
The new arrays have EEPROM for calibration data storage inside housing and come with 4 pin package I²C and the 80x64 with 6 pin package SPI output.
16 Bit ADC allows object temperature ranges from 0 up to 1000 °C without changing amplification factors.
Applications include all kind of remote temperature measurement – even in smart phones - fever detection from distance, industrial process control, home appliance, person detection and security, office automation, HVAC, IoT, hot spot and fire detection.
