This system is also easy to install thanks to it's split design where the Heat Pump can be mounted outside the home, removing the space, noise and also the additional cooling throughout the year associated with conventional Heat Pump Water Heaters.
The CO2 refrigerant used ensures that maximum performance can be obtained in ambient temperatures below -15 DegF, and the system does not require a back up electric element in the tank, making it perfect in a retrofit situation as it only requires a 15A breaker
