Frances Ferdinands is a Fine Artist, exhibiting her paintings nationally and internationally in such far afield places as Paris, Bogota, Honululu, across the continental USA and Canada. Her paintings reflect her South Asian roots and her Canadian Art training. Recognizing that "decoration" encompasses much of visual culture, she seeks to forge an amalgamation of Western and South Asian inspired imagery that speaks to cross-cultural connections and the hybridity of our world. Her paintings can be interpeted in their entirety or a detail to create a beautiful, unusual new product.
