The goal of the International Engraved Graphics Assoc. (IEGA) is to promote the worldwide engraving industry. Though engraving is hundreds of years old, combining tactile interest with rich opaque colors, engraving has the legendary ability to reproduce fine lines and solids with stunning clarity and consistency to ensure faithfulness to a designer’s intentions. Engraving is specified more today for contemporary identity systems. No other graphic process affords that degree of flexibility.
