As one of North America’s premier landfill gas companies, Aria Energy owns and/or operates a diversified portfolio of 44 LFG recovery and processing projects across 17 states, collectively representing 273.8 MWe of energy capacity. Our portfolio includes 29 owned projects that generate electricity and 8 owned projects that produce pipeline-quality renewable natural gas or medium Btu gas. We also provide operations and maintenance services to 7 projects owned by third parties. We have developed or constructed more than 50 projects over the last 25 years and have successfully integrated four acquisitions since 2008. In 2016, Aria Energy produced 12% of the electricity that was generated from landfill gas and 11% of the Cellulosic RINS produced worldwide.
