To accelerate the fielding of 21st Century Naval ISR capabilities, Lockheed Martin developed a Maritime Test Bed that can be used to test and validate electronic intelligence capabilities for surface and subsurface platforms. Developed with the highest levels of Lockheed Martin’s cyber security expertise, the Test Bed offers an empowering capability to assess signals, communications and electronic intelligence in a setting that verifies standards and demonstrates mission utility. An open software architecture allows new capabilities to be easily incorporated and accommodates reach back to other collection sources as well as connectivity to existing combat systems. For testing highly sensitive technologies, the maritime test bed can be linked to the Secret Defense Research and Engineering Network (SDREN) as well as the Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN).
