USEA is a nonprofit whose objective is to convey information about the realities of global energy issues in the 21st Century. USEA's team of international energy specialists work with the U.S. Agency for International Development to expand energy infrastructure in developing countries. USEA also works closely with the U.S. Department of Energy to drive global adoption of clean energy technology. Through its membership, USEA represents more than 100 organizations across the U.S. energy sector, from the largest Fortune 500 companies to small energy consulting firms.
