The Maritime Alliance (TMA) is the 501c6 non-profit organizer of the maritime (ocean & water) technology community in San Diego – the largest BlueTech cluster in the U.S. - and a foremost voice promoting the development of Blue Economy and BlueTech clusters internationally. TMA focuses on Economic Development, Business Ecosystem Development, and National/International Outreach. A 2012 report identified 19,000 direct jobs and $6.2 billion in direct revenue in the regional BlueTech Economy. TMA has a growing membership base with over 50 current members. TMA Foundation is a 501(c)3 educational non-profit that focuses on Workforce Development, Research, and Community Outreach. Together they promote sustainable, science-based ocean and water industries.
