Spaceport Colorado is both a broad-based, state economic development initiative, and a physical project to:
-Increase the value and revenue-generating potential of the airport.
-Engage the sub-orbital commercial space market.
-Establish Colorado as the major national commercial space node, connecting to an international Spaceport system.
-Sustain and accelerate Colorado’s aerospace industry by attracting high-value aerospace businesses that support advanced manufacturing, technology, educational, and R&D industries and establish a key aerospace development center.
