ARKO FOOD PRODUCTS was organized and registered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in June 30, 1989 under DTI Reg. No. 89 26560. The company was operating as a single proprietorship, owned by Mrs. Angelina J. Serrano, with fish sauce as the main product distributed both in local and export as Angelina Brand and Arko Brand. Eventually, said company was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in February 16, 2000 as ARKO FOODS PHILS, INC. under SEC Reg. No. A200002228 owned by Mrs. Angelina J. Serrano with business address at 108 Decena Street, Arkong Bato, Valenzuela City. The primary purpose is to manufacture the following products: bottled sweet preserves, condiments, and noodles. Main products include the following: Sweet Preserves such as Kaong, Nata de Coco, Sweet Jackfruit, Macapuno, White Beans, Red Mongo Beans, Ube Jam, Mixed Fruits; Fish Sauce, Palm Vinegar, Noodle includes Pancit Canton, Pancit Bihon and Misua. As of December 31, 2011, the Company has 50 regular employees. As they have the fruit preserved line, they extend their production and installed blast freezer so that they can produce frozen vegetables and leaves for export market. As the product line extended the company started to export also in Canada, Middle East, Australia and United Kingdom. One of their major distributors in the US is ASIAN COMMODITIES COMPANY located at 3410 San Fernando Road Suite 1, Los Angeles, California, USA.
